"Committed to excellence for the glory of God"
Dear Imani Parents and Families,
Welcome to another incredible year at The Imani School!
As we begin this new school year, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to both our returning families and those joining our community for the first time. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. We are honored to partner with you in a year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.
Each school year offers a fresh start — a chance for students to discover new passions, build meaningful friendships, and grow in faith, character, and knowledge. Our teachers are excited to create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, encourage excellence, and help every child reach their God-given potential.
Imani is officially STEM Certified!
This milestone reflects our commitment to preparing students for a future filled with limitless possibilities. Rooted in our Christian values and commitment to academic excellence, our STEM program equips students to become confident thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and compassionate leaders in an ever-changing world.
Throughout the year, our theme — "Empowered Today, Leading Tomorrow" — will encourage every student to discover their strengths, embrace new opportunities, and lead with purpose.
Parents, your partnership remains one of the greatest factors in your child's success. Together, we will encourage academic excellence, celebrate milestones, overcome challenges, and nurture the gifts God has placed within every student. Thank you for your continued support, trust, and commitment to The Imani School family.
Brightest blessings,
Patricia Hogan Williams

Student Electronic Device Policy
To promote a focused and productive learning environment, The Imani School has established the following electronic device policy:
Grades K–4
Students may not bring or use personal electronic devices at school. This includes cell phones, laptops, iPads, tablets, smartwatches with communication capabilities, or other personal communication devices.
Grades 5–8
Students may bring a cell phone but it must be placed in the classroom phone bank immediately upon arrival and remain there until dismissal.
Personal laptops, iPads, tablets, or other devices are not permitted. A school-issued Chromebook will be provided for classroom use only.
Morning Drop-Off
Preschool & Kindergarten
Enter through the front lobby. Preschool students must be escorted to the classroom and signed in.
Grades 1–8
Drop off at the side entrance from 7:00–8:00 a.m. Classes begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. Late arrivals must stop at the front office for a tardy slip.
To minimize disruptions, please do not request students be called to the office before 4:00 p.m. except in an emergency. Parents are asked not to enter classrooms before classes begin — teachers use this time to greet students and prepare for the day.
Afternoon Dismissal Procedures
Pre-K – Kindergarten
Students must be picked up from their classroom.
Grades 1–8
Pick up from the cafeteria or the side exit car line. Teachers supervising dismissal are not available for conferences — please schedule ahead.
Please do not ask for children to be called to the office during dismissal.
Uniforms
Risse Uniform Company is now the provider for Imani school uniforms. All students are expected to be in uniform on the first day of school. Complete uniforms are required Monday through Thursday. Friday is free dress day.

Labels, Labels, Labels!
Please write your child's first and last name in indelible ink inside every item of clothing. Each year we have a room full of lost-and-found items that are discarded because we cannot identify the owner. Uniforms, coats, and jackets are expensive — please take a few minutes to safeguard your investment.
