Beta Serves the Community
The Imani School's Jr. Beta Club is a group of extraordinary students engaging in exceptional acts of service to improve the Greater Houston community and beyond. Members of the Beta Club participated in the UNCF Walk for Education and The David Wesley Foundation Golf Classic to support their missions of educating African Americans and providing opportunities to support and enhance the lives and development of children, respectively.
Imani parents David and Shannon Wesley, father and mother of Hallie, Jada and David Jr., presented an opportunity for Beta Club members to volunteer at the golf classic. More volunteer projects are on the horizon as the club prepares for the Texas State and National Jr. Beta conventions. The Jr. Beta Club is an honor and service organization led by sponsors Ms. Smith, Ms. Clay and Mrs. Willis, who guide students as they embark on charitable, social and scholarly endeavors.
