Beta Club supports one of their own
Last year, Lundyn's Leaders stepped up a big way.
Imani's Jr. Beta Club collected donations and walked to find a cure for Type I Diabetes, also known as juvenile diabetes. They walked not only for the millions of people afflicted with juvenile diabetes, but also for one of their own.
Seventh-grader Lundyn Davis was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes at the tender age of 6. While she and her family had to make significant lifestyle changes it hasn't kept the active 12-year-old from living a full life. Still, the dream of finding a cure is always there for Lundyn.
With that in mind, Lundyn and the Jr. Beta Club asks for you to get behind Lundyn's Leaders and Walk to Cure Diabetes or simply donate.
The walk is scheduled for Sept. 26. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and the walk commences at 9 a.m.
