Imani Excels at ACSI Speech Meet
Imani's bright stars shined once again at the 2009 ACSI Speech Meet last Spring. Our "stars" earned seven medals, six of which were gold!
Eighth graders Taylor Mitchell, Falyn Page, and Isaac Watson earned gold medals. Likewise, sixth graders Lundyn Davis and Hailey Williams along with 2009 graduate Hannah Ayodele earned gold medals. Annie Jefferson netted a silver medal.
Other honorees include recent Imani graduates Lauren Anderson, Randolph Diggs and Brandon Smith as well as current students Daaima Muhammad and John Parks. Lauren, Daaima, John and Brandon attained an excellent rating and Randolph merited a good rating.
Students achieved success thanks to Mrs. Rita Wilson, our speech teacher, and plenty of hard work.
