New Parking Lot Procedures
We hope the first few days of school have been a pleasant experience. We are excited to announce a few procedural changes that will hopefully add convenience to your day. Please adhere to the following.
· Morning drop-off is available along the side of the school from 7:00 am 8:00 am. Please feel free to drive up to the silver doors and a staff member will receive your child(ren) at the curb. If you wish to drop your child off on the opposite side, a staff member will stop traffic to assist him/her across the street. Students should have their backpack ready when the staff member opens the door so that traffic may flow smoothly. Students should not have to go into the trunk for their things and should never be allowed to exit the car on the side where traffic is.
· Afternoon pick-up is also available in the same area from 4:00 pm 6:00 pm. In order for this process to run smoothly, we are asking each parent to fill out an extended day form (which will be handed out Monday, August 24, 2009) and should be returned Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Students who are not staying for extended day will be waiting near the doors for their parents to arrive at 4pm. A paper with your childs last name will be issued and should be visible on the passenger side visor before picking up. Students who are not picked up by 4:10 will be taken to extended day. All students who are not picked up by 6pm will be taken to the front office and signed in to Afterschool Care. Late day charges do apply. Please see the policy in the front office. Fees must be paid directly to the staff member who is with your child at that time.
