Parent Partnerships
Family involvement is a hallmark of the
Harvest Fest Committee - coordinates all activities associated with this fall event, which is primarily social. Should profits be generated, they are used to fund special items needed by the school.
Calendar Drive Committee - coordinates an annual calendar and note card drive to raise funds.
Grant Writing and Development - explore and develop fundraising opportunities that will genereate revenues to enhance and improve the quality of school programs.
Technology Committee - works with the teachers/staff to identify, develop, and integrate computer-based technology into the education and administration of the school.
Library/Book Fair Committee - works with the Librarian to enhance and maintain the library and to secure books, periodicals, and reference materials for the school.
Dad's Club - a volunteer organization created to enhance parental (most specifically fathers) influence and participation in the educational and developmental process of our children. The Dad's Club continuously seeks new ways to improve the organization and tailor it to the specific needs of our children. Some of the activities which the dads organize are: Harvest Fest, Golf Tournament, skating and bowling parties, Dad's Day at Imani, annual camping trip, and horseback riding.
Room Parents - assist teachers/staff to plan activities, provide refreshments for special occasions, and serve as liaisons for the parent body.
Student Athletic Committee - assists in planning, organizing and carrying out extra-curricula activities for the cheerleaders and athletic programs.
Fine Arts Committee - assists The Fine Arts Society in pre-production for artistic performances such as plays, musicals, and art exhibits.
Prayer Partners - consists of a group of parents who pray for the needs and success of the school.
Angels Booster Club - supports all of Imani's atheletic events from cheerleading to basketball and organizes the annual Olympic Day games and contests.
